On the 15th of June a notice arrived saying that the wives of two different rulers had died. One of them was married to the king of Castile and the other was married to the Viceroy of this land. There was a fast held in their honor. On the 24th of June during the holiday of St. John the Baptist, they drowned a Spanish man who was bathing in clear water.
