special session at 12 m August 27th
1901 to consider [statutory?] matters and
especially the existence of small pox in
the city and to do and perform such official
acts as may be necessary in the premises
also school matters & buildings

Orrick moved that City Council in view of attorney general opinion
& c that city have nothing to do with small pox in the city
and that Dr Chambers be appointed com. of one to
notify the co. judge & [comssrs [ct?] to that effect
and city have nothing to do with small pox
