Fort Worth, Texas, may 16th, 1908.

To the Honorable Mayor and City Council,
Fort Worth, Texas.

Gentlemen:-

On behalf of the Ikard heirs I beg to present to your
Honorable Body the attached plat which the Ikard heirs propose at once
to make of their property on Tucker Hill. As will be seen from said
plat they propose to dedicate to the City and the Public a Street 60w300
feet, running East and West through said property, and in consideration
of the donation of said Street they respectfully ask of your Honorable
Body that the back taxes on said property to-wit, the East three-quarters
of Blocks Four and Five, Tucker's Addition, be cancelled, up to and includ-
inf the year 1901. In other words, they propose that for the cancellation
of said taxes they will give to the CIty a Street 60x300 feet, which will
add very materially to the taxable values in that part of Fort Wroth.
I believe that I am justified in saying that if the proposition is accepted
the City will experience no trouble in collecting the taxes in the future.

Very respectfully,

Ben O Smith
