Ft. Worth, Texas, Jan. 31st, 1905.

To the "Honorable Mayor and City Council."
City of Fort Worth, Texas.

Gentlemen:--

We, the undersigned Citizens and Property Holders of the
Seventh Ward, would respectfully ask, your Honorable Body, to open
for us, one thoroughfare or street, from a point on South Main Street
just south of the St. Joseph's Infirmary, to a connection with St. Louis
Avenue on the west: total length of street being four hundred and fifty
feet. This street to run through the extreme south side of what is
known as the "Women's Rescue" property, which is owned by the City. This
street is, we think, very essential to the convenience and comfort of
the residents of both, South Galveston and St. Louis Avenues; the same
being a direct outlet for both of these avenues, to South Main Street.

Trusting that your Honorable Body may find this request
consistent with what you conceive to be best for the public welfare.

Very respectfully,
