To the Honorable Mayor and City Counsel:

The undersigned citizens of Fort Worth engaged in business on
and near the corner of 8th and Rusk Streets respectfully petition your
Honorable body to pave the walk and gutter at said corner, your petition-
ers respectfully represent and show, that walk, gutter, and street at
said point is in very bad condition and for more definite information
on this subject we refer your Honorable body to Mr. John B. Hawley your
City engineer, who has made examination of the same, respectfully submit-
