in a trailer which we borrowed. There
was so much old lumber and stuff there we
couldn't take it all. So got the man who
got our public garage there to get it for
his fireplace in the office.

We went down on Thursday and came back
on Friday.

I have been trying to get some house cleaning
done, but did myself up last week and
was all in by Sunday. Am feeling better
now and am painting the kitchen. It is
such a big kitchen and is a big job.

Lee has been working in his walnuts and
this week putting up a fence around the
orchard so he can turn the horses and
cow out to pasture in his green barley
which he sowed some time ago.

We had a letter in Frances today. She
is very busy. She is the school pianist this
year. She plays for the choirs, chapel, solos,
duets, and all the music.

Graydon is very busy at the news. He
worked last night till 1 o'clock as one of
the men was away.

Hope you and George are well, also the
girls and their families.

Our summer wasn't as hot as usual as
the thermometer didn't go higher than
110, [degree symbol], in the shade this year.

Must close now and go to bed.
