Dear Grandy:
I landed a job this morning
to go to Phoenix, Ariz. tomorrow,
(Sun) at 2 PM, $5 per 8 hour
finishing, or at the Bench in
the mill, or I might get foreman
or roughing or finish at a little
better wages or if I take the
floor laying and scraping, can have
6 or 7 dollars. Will take my choice
when I get there. They need a
good floor man, the worst, and
cabinet makers at the bench next,
so I think I have the job.
I have been praying for.
Board, $1 per day or I can batch
it, which I think I'll do.
Tt costs me $17.30 fare to get there.
