Brownsville, Pa. March 30, 1900

My dear Miss Hartzell:

It is certainly very kind of you to write to me at all.

I have thought of writing to you every day since I rec'd your letter but, indeed, I was not strong enough to write.

March has given me a rough handling but, I guess I will conquer this time.

I guess I am better, anyhow. I do not have the hemorrhages I used to have but, I have been so very weak. I hope to be stronger when the weather gets warm.

Yes, indeed, Dr. Miller is still my dr. I never expect to have any other dr. as long as I have the implicit confidence in him as a physician. He has been so kind to me as he is to all his patients.

Mrs. Miller has been ill, also the little daughter had dyptheria. They both recovered. Sara Milliken, one of last year's class, was in the dr's. family at the time and I hear he was well pleased with her.

This is stale news, but I though you would be interested.

Sara Milliken is a Brownsville girl. I will be pleased

to give the dr. your new address, if you have not written.

I often see your friend, Mrs. Fisher, passing. I have had her pointed out to me so often that I have learned to know her when I see her. So I suppose she had good health when she goes out so much.

My dear Miss Hartzell:

I have been so miserable since I started to write, to that is was impossible for me to finish your letter. I know you will pardon the delay.

Dr. Miller called in to see

Tuesday evening. I gave him your last address. He is so kind to me. I would not give him for the whole staff at the H.H. He said he thought his wife would like you so much for a nurse.

I believe Mrs. Miller has been in poor health. I thought she had recovered.

Do you ever hear from Miss McCarty? I think of her so often since I have been sick. You know she was my roomate and a very genial one.

With best wishes and love for you I am, sincerely yours, Cecilia E. Abel.
