My dear Miss Hartzell:
It is certainly very kind
of you to write to me at all.
I have thought of writing to
you every day since I rec'd
your letter but, indeed, I was
not strong enough to write.
March has given me a
rough handling but, I guess
I will conquer this time.
I guess I am better, anyhow.
I do not have the hemorrhages I
used to have but, I have been so
very weak. I hope to be stronger
when the weather gets warm.
