lamp in my room. It is
a large room, came near
burning up, my clothes caught
fire. One of the clerks came
up and helped put it out
or every stitch of clothes
would have burned off of me.
Wouldn't I have been a sight,
phew! Had to get a new carpet,
have the room repapered, in
fact, clean house in the winter
time, but it is over now. How
is Aunt Peggy getting along
by this time, and Dr Shields,
since a handsomer man, as
a house physician, has arrived
to stay. Hope his suffering
does not come anyway's near
