with a sore knee. Has gone home. May be back. Well, well, what a time we have, it's killing. I was so sorry to hear of your sickness, dear Miss Hartzell, but hope you are feeling much better. I told Miss Uright. She said you had better stay at home. Would have saved yourself a sick spree. She has gone away today to be gone until Thursday. Miss Lindley is here. She sends love. This is her last night on night duty. Miss Smith goes on tomorrow evening, Miss Jones in Miss Barnett's place. Wish it was my time off. The old pavillion man has gone to poor farm. Miss Echols will be in Saturday. The house is so hard. The girls, on this front, are always so busy, never get through until after I'm on duty. You have the deep, deep sympathy of all the girls in the house. They all expressed themselves as such. They all think you have so much trouble. Miss Barnett has brought me up some lovely chocolates. I will have to stop. Wants Davis to take this to the office so it will go early. Tell your father. Was thankful to have her write. Hoping to hear from you again. Will try to be more prompt in the next. Hope you will soon be able to come back to the hospital. Your with much love, Miss Wein
