their "civic" clothes. Most of the
soldiers had all they wanted of
the war. I did too, except that
I wanted to go overseas first.

If the war had lasted till now,
that is where I would have been
today, for I would have been sent
straight over from Cornell.

Every few days, one of my old
soldier friends runs across one
at the Institute. It is good to
be down here.

write me a letter soon.
