as though I had not heard from home
for an age Has Father paid any taxes
on his land in Wis.? I would not give

is the states to farm in I like Tenn
soil & climate the best of any state I
have been in yet Ill take up my
bounty land in Tenn and after this
"cruel war is over" marry some corn
fed Tenn girl (Union girl of course)
