entirely lost.

I herewith inclose you Duplicates of Annapolis & Chignecto
Victualling Lists. 6th {September} @ 83d {October} & from 4th to 31st {October}. Likewise Lists from
Chignecto & Annapolis, 1st {November} to 28th & 29th {November} to 26th {December} 1762. Authenticated,
which I have just now {Received}, and as there is no Opportunity from hence, I send
them to New York, for Conveyance.

I have {Received} no letters from you, since my last of 10th ultimo.
We have had an extream hard Winter here, & in Nova Scotia, with deep snows,
has prevented all Communication, from the outports to Halifax, but hope
soon to Receive more lists, & send you {Account} of Provisions, purchas'd for your
Contract, since my last {Account} and that I may hear further from you, by the
Packett Expected.

PS Mr Gerrish writes me, he
will give a particular Answer to
yours of 8th {November} last, which shall be Transmitted to you.

Provisions are very high, occasioned by the two Year's Drought; if a good season
this year, & Peace takes Place, Provisions must be Cheap & Plenty the next years,
but for this year's supply must be laid in Directly, Pork in particular.
