I can't but approve of Capt Marshalls conduct on every Re-
spect & hope he will Merit your Countenance-------

I beg you will at all Events use your utmost En=
deavors to dispatch Marshall very Early in the Spring back
as Establishing the ship in this trade. the first spring ship will
ever procure a freight but rather than she should be detain'd
on your Side you may add ten or twenty tons of Hemp more
for my account to fill up & dispatch her. ~

I fully intended writing you more largely by
this but really am reduc'd to the last Moment to write my
own letters, and am loth to detain the Ship but shall write
you further in a few days. I hope soon to hear from you & to
receive all our Compa[ny] accounts and desire by the return of
Marshall you will not fail to send my own Acco[un]t Curr[en]t.

I have sent you a large order for Goods you must
be careful that they are well chosen & best of their kinds. I must
beg that the oznabrigs now orderd may not be purchasd of the
Same person that the two last parcells you sent us were, for
such impositions are not to be Countenanc'd, about a yard of
it outside very good & the remainder unfit for any use that
it is turn'd upon my hands, and I can never sell it. Do be
particular in your orders for the whole of my Goods. ~

I shall soon write you again, must now close
and defferr what I have further to say till next opportun[it]y
