I Rec'd your favour by Capt Blake with
your Account Current which on Examination I find
Right, & have accordingly Ballanced your Account in
our late Compa[ny] Books with Cash Rec'd of Messrs Barnards
& Harrison in full for my Acco[un]ts.
I have still by me, a great part of the articles last Rec'd
from you, & the Trade of this place in general very dull,
that at present have no propect of a Sudden Demand,
whenever I may have occasion for articles in your way
you may Depend I shall apply to you in preference
to any others.
I wish you Health & Happiness

I duly Rec'd your favour by Capt
Southcott with the goods by him in good order amo[unting] to £896.11.5
to your Credit with me, & for which I shall duly Remit you,
you at same time Inclos'd me our Late Company Acco[un]t Curr[en]tt:
Ballance due to you on that Acco[un]tt £116.8.7 for which I
desire you will please to draw on my Freinds Messrs Barnards
& Harrison of London to whom I have wrote to honour your
Bill. when you will Close that Acco[un]tt & advise me thereof I must
beg your Pardon that I have not sooner done it, my
constant attention to many matters suddenly Devolv'd
upon me prevented, hope you'll Excuse, I will be more
Speedy in my next to make amends.
our Trade is excessive Dull & the prospect so indifferent
that at present I have only Occasion for a few things at
Bottom which you will please to send me by very first
opportunity & Charge to my Acco[un]tt.
