Inclosed is Invoice of 44 Barrells Blubber for my Acct
which on your arrival to New York you'll please to deliver to Mr. Edward Laight
if he will take them at the same terms he had those I sent Capt. Smith
last trip otherwise please to carry them with you to Cape Fear where if
you meet with any incouraging price you are to dispose of them or
as many of them as you can, find a market for. If the market to
below there and you proceed to Charleston South Carolina take them
with you and dispose of them there on the best terms you can but
whenever youself take sucg pay only as will answer best here and
take naval stories for them until the blubber will sell for such
an advanced price as will vender them at least equal to cash
or other good. pay the proceeds you may invest in Deerskins
either in the habour or indian bee wax. Naberry wax
tallons, rice good corn fed pork. South Carolina Leather or
if sound good, if to be had ata price that will anser at the
this markeys or in any other article you think will anser better pork. will below in the spring.
