Peripneumonia Notha

OverviewVersions

Description

A form of pneumonia considered different from peripneumonia vera ( "true" pneumonia) due to it having less fever and inflammation, and primarily attacking the elderly. Most probably bronchitis or empyema. Aka bastard pneumonia. Called "peri" pneumonia because it begins with pain in the pleura, the outside lining of the lungs.
