The "basic" lead carbonate (2PbCO3·Pb(OH)2), a complex salt containing both carbonate and hydroxide ions. Formerly used as an ingredient for lead paint and the cosmetic Venetian ceruse. Aka ceruse, plumbum album, plumbum candidum.
