Description

Atropa belladonna is a herbaceous perennial in the nightshade family Solanaceae. The foliage and berries contain tropane alkaloids (atropine, scopolamine, hyoscyamine) which cause delirium and hallucination, but are also used as pharmaceutical anticholinergics. Aka belladonna, deadly nightshade.
