Anthelme Louis Claude Marie, Baron von Richerand (aka Anthelme Balthasar Richerand) (1779-1840) was a French surgeon and physiologist. He became surgeon-in-chief at Hopital Saint-Louis, Paris. In 1805 he published "Nosographie et Therapeutique chirurgicales" in 3 volumes, of which the 6th edition was published in 1821. In 1807 he was made professor of surgical pathology in the Paris medical faculty, where he lectured for more than 30 years.
