{Revered} Sir

Being prevented by various Avocations from Compleating the College {Accounts} to Lay before you this Day of on Examination, I must Beg your & the {gentlemen's} Excuse; and am hindred by particular Business this Day from attending at Cambridge, but by the middle of next Week I will have them ready & attend, which you may Rely shall not be Omitted
