To the Reverend Mr. John Leverett President of Harvard College,

Reverend Sir,

I being yet at uncertainty, both as to the time when my salary begins, & how often or by what payments I am to Receive it, I pray yt you will be pleased, to move it to the Honourable, & Reverend Corporation, to state it; so yt I may know, & I pray yt if you shall please, I may Receive it in quarterly payments.

Reverend Sir if you shall think fit I pray that you will please also to move it to the Honourable & Reverend Corporation whether it may not be thought Reasonable that I should have some allowance made to me for the two first years of my being att College.
