Expence charged leaves £117.0.11 for the expence during
the year.
Ninety pounds being the sum granted to defray the Servants
wages, & ? remains of the excess of actual expence
exclusive of washing and lodging, above the grant is £27.0.11
For the year past.
In case an estimate is to be made of the excess of
expence to the Grant for the time charged in this
Account from April 22d to June 1st 1781, it is about——2.10.0

It may be observed, that more than thirty nine weeks, the whole
of term time, is charged. The Servants enter upon their work
two days before the Students collect together, and continue com-
monly longer after departure; that time being necessary to
[scower?] the Utensils, cleanse the cellars and put the [?]
articles in their proper order.
