Volume containing secretary's minutes of the Hasty Pudding Club from its founding in 1795 to 1801, with some accounts dated 1811. Entries commence with a transcription of the constitution and laws of the club, adopted September 1, 1795, and a list of its members from 1795 to 1799. Inaugural members, all from the class of 1797, included Moses Adams (1777-1839), Daniel Bates (1779-1799), Horace Binney (1780-1875), Joseph Hurd (1779-1857), Jabez Kimball (1772-1805), Leonard Mellen (died 1804), John Collins Warren (1778-1856), Benjamin Wood (died 1798), William Jenks (1778-1856), and Daniel Appleton White (1776-1861).

1 Constitution & Laws of the "Hasty-pudding club of Harvard College;" adopted the 1st of September 1795.

Preamble.

To cultivate the social affections and cherish the feelings of friendship & patriotism, being the first of duties, and sublimest of enjoyments; we the subscribers have for this purpose formed ourselves into a society under the denomination of "the hasty-pudding club of Harvard College," and agreed to the adoption of the following regulations.
