Bahama Islands

The Lucayos or Bahama Islands
are some hundreds in number many of
them miles in length and others little better
than rocks or knobs rising above water
which renders navigation among them
remarkably dangerous They are seated in the
finest Climate in the world between 25º and
27º North {Latitude} which tho very hot on the
Continent is in these island but another word
for a perpetual spring The isle of Bahama
is in {Latitude} 26º 30' being about fifty miles
long but very narrow.
