The [Tweede]

What Beauty does Flora disclose,
How sweet are her smiles upon Tweed,
Yet Moggy still fairer than those,
Both Nature & Fancy exceed,
Nor Daces, nor sweet blushing Rose,
Nor all ye gay Flowers of ye Field,
Nor Tweed gently gliding thro' those,
Such Pleasure & Beauty does yield.

2d.
The Warblers are heard in ye Grove,
The Linnet ye Lark & ye Thrush,
The blackbird & sweet cooing Dove,
With musick enchanter'ry Bush.
Come let us go forth to ye Mead,
Let us see how ye prim-roses spring,
We'll lodge on some Willow on Tweed,
And love; while ye feathered Folks sing.
