At the Same time they ware engaged at Roxbury With Small arms the Regu lars set fire to a house & barn in Rox bury & hove two bumb Shells the Same knight our people set fire to the New Light house about Eight hundred of our people went took & killd all upon the Island killd 15 took 25 Merines & 7 tories this Day two of our men ware killd by a Cannon Ball from bunkers hill they kept a Continuel fire all Day from the hill & the floating batteries at about 4 oClock PM they Sent out a flag of truce Desireing Sesation of a [?] of arms for three Dayes but it was not granted one of the Rifle men Shot at the flag Staf of the truce and cut it of above his hand betwen Sunset & [?] Dark our people killd 14 of the Regulars Which Come out in Search of there Dead Tuesday August 1:1775 Orderrs Given from the General for Scouting parties to fires at all [t?]imes when ever they have oppertunity

The Same day Raised the mast that Come out of ye Schooner that was Burnt at Chelsea for to hoist our Flagg upon in the fort upon prospect Hill in Charlestown 76 feet high - Wednesday {August} 2nd 1775 - Had a good knights Rest Last knight all Still this morning Some fireing upon Both Sides at Sunset but killd None upon our Side Some Some Regulars ware Seen dragd away Supposed to be dead Thursday {August} 3rd 1775 - Went upon Court Martial of ye Lines Some fireing upon Both Sides to day With Small arms Very Cool for the Time of year Friday {August} 4th 1775 - Went upon Court Martial {Lieutenant} Mongomery[s?] & wife & {Captain} Lunts Wife Came in to Camp the Regulars halld up another Ship Back of the Common Boston or Near New Boston

Saturday {August} 5th 1775. {Captain} Lunt & wife Montgomery & wife & Kent went to Roxbury No remarks this Day - Sunday {August} 6 1775 - Cool weather the wind at NE at in the afternnon the Regulars went from bunkers hill & set fire to a House at penny ferry they fired A number of Cannon from there Floating Batterys but Did no Damage we Returnd the fire & Silencd them Monday {August} 7th - Very Cool for the Season Set upon Court Martial to try Partrick Tracy For Disobedience of orders found Him guilty Judgement {Brought} in a gainst him to Ride the Woodenhorse twenty Minits Tuesday 8 August 1775 Three hundred Rifle men Come in To the Camps killd two Regulars

A number of Cannon ware fired from the Enemy and Small arms upon both Sides - Wednesday {August} 9th 1775 - Partrick Tracy Rode the wooden horse after which Mrs Lunt & Mrs Montgomery Left the Camps Cloudy this morning in the afternoon Rain after a dry time at knight went with {Captain} Gerrish upon Piquit guard Lodgd out upon the ground All knight yesterday a vessel from the W Indies Come in to Cape Anne She was beset by a cutter & barges From the lively man of war that Lay there but by the help of god & the dexterity of the people beat them of the Schooner & took 25 prisoners With the master & 7 of our people Which they had [?]rest on bord the Ship Likewise took a nother Vessle from them That they had of ours with the Loss of two men they Shot at the town & did Considerable of Damage Thursday {August} 10 1775 in the morning Cloudy afternoon a grate plenty of Rain
