Calix —Three ovate leaves; hairy placed below the recepticle —

Coral. — Six oblong petals, obtuse at their apices, & acuminated at their claws.

Stam. filaments many, filaform, erect, shorter than the petals Anthera — Globular. roundish

Pist — Germana. many, ovate, long, erect — Stipes imperceptable none - Stigmata thick.

Seeds — Capsules hairy, containing two or three roundish seeds
