It is a very helpful book, anyone would enjoy it.

Peg was nice to send me her love. I shall not let
it go to my head, of course. Thank her for remembering me.

No fresh news has come from Rockford. Except that
my father won his divorce. $5. per week for thirty weeks. I
pray he does not marry again. He should have enough.

You wrote me an interesting account of your Easter
You gave Susan a dress - who is Susan? I am pleased
that you thought so well of my last letter. I want pictures
of you at Hill Top not just of the "farm"

For Easter I bought four pints of ice cream and a cake. All
told we had eight pints, one pie; one cake for four of us. We
were considerably inflated that evening. We did right well!

The new baby is very fortunate in having Mary James for God Mother.

You will have a time getting me to cook! I can fry
meat and that is all except potatoes. I might wind up
spending most of the time alone up there.

At the greenhouse we are very busy as usual.
We have some new carnations that are simply breathtaking
Also as an added attraction, we have built and put up a
fourty compartment Martin house.

The big black dog said to send you his greeting.
I received a very dear card for Easter.

I am dreadfully sorry about Commissioner Ellis' death.
He was a fine man and doing much good work. Certainly
I shall write of him when I write to Mrs. Thompson.

I know, or at least suspect, you worry about your mother
You are not alone in this for I am also worried about her.

We must keep our faith Doctor and not let down.
My best thoughts are constantly yours, Doctor.

Yours ever,
Russell McWilliams 5661-E
