and each day I learn to understand each patient a little more. It is all so interesting and also how the patient will re-act to kind treatment. They are all so helpless that to treat them otherwise would be a terrible sin. Little do some people who are sound in mind and body, think about giving thanks to God.

I have a room by my self and I have a booklet that Mrs Keenan gave to me with a poemt called, "The Good Ship Mary Lee" I have it tacked on my door. Give my love to all of the house girls and tell them I haven't forgotten them. I shall write very soon to the
