My dear cousin Eliza
The paper sent to
Mother containing the announcement
of your dear Mothers departure to
her other home received and
the obituary notice which is a
fitting tribute to one of her lovely
character and Christian graces
has been read aloud to Mother
who never thinks she has heard it
before and discovers something new
each time I read it to admire and
talk about. At first she was quite
overcome and it was quite pathetic
to hear her repeat "I am the only
one left I am all alone" As the
years go by her memory fails more
than her health yet the weight
of her 89 years makes her way
