Thurs.
3-17 - Drove down to Galveston where we got Son Comf etc. On beach found babys ears & more N.S lunch on beach. Back to more boiling. Prue called Perre.

Fri.
3-18 - Packed & left after br. stopping x times along the beach. Decided to pick up only the rarer varieties of v.s but some big ones weren't to be resisted. Pink tellins. Thru Pt. Arthur before oil plants let out. Stopped at the Pines at Orange. Fine dinner at Mexican Hat. Hot water on v.s & washed & cleaned in johnny. Nice Serv Sta man.

3-19 - Stopped at Belmont for lunch of salad & gooey dessert. Drove over top of L. Ponch & stopped at Mandeville
