3-23 - Br in Waycross - Got groc & ate at St Pk - Edisto Beach. Very windy. Long & cold walk - mit coats - resulted in a few wentletraps - 2 largest for me.
Thru Chastn to Mt. Pleasant. After phoning several places all full. Good dinner at Frosty Manor.

3-24 - Up soon after five - Br at Geo town 50 miles. Paper mill with wind just right. Pauleys Island - Hammock Shop. Int man. Brookgreen & visit with Mrs. C. Wonderful as ever. To Marje's by noon. After dinner, got room at Gardenia Court. Hard time rousing Mgr. Then he wouldn't take money. To 2nd Ave - nothing we wanted. Took Janie to Clardy's for lubricating.
