Thursday morning

Dear Kids _

Just got up + am still about
half asleep but had you on my mind
so thought I would drop you a few
lines as this is Thanksgiving. We don't
know it is a holiday because we carry
on just the same as any other day.
What does G. W. want for Xmas? I am
going to send you the money to get the
boys something because toys are too
big to try to send. Guess I'll have to
send things about the first of the
month to be sure you get them in time.

Well I am not getting transferred.
My supply clerk is leaving Sat. for Esler
Field, La. I'm not sorry that I didn't
get that place.
