Peach Ice Cream
1/4 c milk, scalded
1/2 lb marshmallows
2 cups sieved ripe raw peaches
1 c cream or Evap. milk
Pinch salt

Cut up marshmallows and
dissolve in heated milk. Let
cool. (If peaches not quite sweet
enough, stir in a spoon of honey)
Mix and freeze to a mush.
Take out and whip with egg
beater.

Baking Powders
If recipe calls for double action
b. powder, 1 tsp. (clabber girl, KC.
calumet, davis,) use 1 1/4 of
phosphate type (Rumford, Dr
Price) or 1 1/2 for tartrate
type (Royal)
