Lauras Molasses Cookies
1 cup molasses 1/2 cup sweet milk
3 table spoons sugar 5 ditto shortening
1 " " soda 1 " ginger
Molasses Candy
1 gr molasses 1/2 lb sugar
1/3 teaspoon cream tartar
boil till brittle when
dropped into water
not stir when cooking if
let boill not boil over
when done put on a ground
plate and as soon as
cool enough work by
pulling but do not touch
with the hands any more
