Black Berry Jam Cake

2 cups brown sugar

1 c of butter

Cream the butter and sugar together

6 eggs, seperate the whites from the yellow, beat seperately

2 cups of black berry jam

1/2 c of sour milk or butter milk

3 cups of flour

Add 1 tsp of baking powder and 1 tsp pf soda

Stir in sour milk.

Then 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg

scant teaspoon of cloves
