White Cake,

2 scant cups sugar
1/2 cup butter + flavoring
creamed together
yolks of 2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Beat up well and add
lightly whites of the
two eggs beaten,

1/2 of this will make
you a nice cake.
