Cream Cheese Cruller Rolls
- Mary Ellis Ames Radio Recipe - 8/28/'35
It takes 2 1/2 hrs before baking time.
Use recipe for plain refrig rolls.
- makes 2 1/2 doz. refrig. rolls.
For filling:
1 1/2 c cottage cheese or
5 pkg. cream cheese
salt
4 T current jelly
Roll out dough 1/4 in.vthick. Cut
with sharp knife 1/2 in x 9 in.
Touch narrow end with butter.
Have ready 2 1/2 doz. clothes
pins - scrubbed clean, dried,
+ brushed with melted butter.
Wind dough around clothes
pins, leaving head - end
of pin free.
Let rise 45 min. Bake mod. oven
400 - 20 min. or to golden
brown.
Have the cream mixture ready and
stuf the rolls while warm.
(about 1 T. filling for each roll.)
