White Fruit Cake
(Given to me by Mrs. [Hemingway?]

1/2 lb. stale bread crumbs
1 c. scalded milk
1/4 lb. sugar (2/3 c)
4 eggs
1/2 lb Sultana raisins - (cut + floured)
1/2 lb Kadota figs (white)
1/2 c. citron (cut fine)
1 c walnuts (chopped)
1 c. pecans "
1/2 lb. almonds blanched + chopped
1/2 c. orange peel
1/2 c (2 slices) candied pineapple
1/2 c. candied cherries
1/2 lb. suet (chopped fine)
1/2 c wine [or? +?] brandy mixed
1/2 grated nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 " mace
1/2 " ground cloves
1 1/2 " salt.

Flour fruits. Mix all together
thoroughly and bake.
