Rolls

2 cups warm milk
1 yeast cake, 2 cups sifted
flour, salt 2 teaspoons
sugar, 2 tablespoons melted
butter, 1 egg, disolve yeast
cake in warm milk
put flour in bowl add
every thing and stir
let it get light then
mix enough flour in
to form a soft dough
and let it rise again
untill very light. roll
out 1 inch in thickness
and cut in rounds, brush
the rounds with melted
butter, double them over
and put in buttered pan
[1] inch apart let them
rise to double their
size and bake to a
golden brown,
while hot brush over
with melted butter
