In Richmond Hustings Court June 12th 1857
On the petition of Lewis Sampson
and Robert Sampson free persons of Color emancipated
since the year 1806, who desire to obtain permission
to remain in this Commonwealth and reside in this
City, it is Ordered that the Justices of this Court be
Summoned to appear here in Friday the 17th July 1857 to
hear and decide on said applications.
