This deed made the 7th day of
April 1857. Witnesseth that whereas
by virtue of an act of the General
Assembly passed February 10 1831
an estate for life was given to me
Jacob Sampson in the children of
my wife Frankey Sampson, among
which children are my
two Sons born of said Frankey
named Lewis Sampson & Robert
Sampson Now I the said Jacob
Sampson do hereby release give
up, surrender & transfer to my
two said sons all my right
title & claim in & upon them
& their service & do hereby emancipate
& set them free so that the
benefit & freedom confered upon
them by siad act of Assembly may
take effect at once, just as by
said act, it would take effect
by my death.
