SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: Aircraft Engineering Officer: Performed this duty while assigned to various aircraft engineering units in the Continental United States and in Dygpt [Egypt]. As group engineering officer in Caira [Cairo?] Air Depot, was responsible for the 3rd and 4th echelon maintenance and repair of all aircraft assigned to Eastern Africa. In this capacity, supervised the work of approximately 900 enlisted personnel. As group engineering officer with the 88th heavy bomb group, was also responsible for maintenance of all aircraft and supervised 1200 enlisted personnel.
