I have been reading the Lamplighter today. I ought to have spent my time writing, went to Church this forenoon and was very sleepy there, my sweet roommate is diving into her Sabbath School lesson, and I ought to. The Lamplighter is the only story I ever read that after reading I was perfectly satisfied. Do excuse the haste in which this is written. Please write to me. Thee knows thee always has my love, so it may be useless to be forever repeating it. Shall I bring home Caesar, I shall not probably read it any more. We take very short lessons in Latin but have to get them, thoroughly. I shall write to James and Jane next time, tell Jane to have off flirting with Levi. It is the advice of a friend. am rather glad he and John could not agree, I have a beautiful bouquet of Mountain Laurel. Should like to send some home. I never saw many before I came here. Love to all. Write all the news. Farewell Very affectionately, Ann
