Our own family are all in
usual health & all getting on
very well.

There has been quite a scare
here lately lest the Rebels might
make a turn this way and
quite a military furor has
existed but now the excitement
is pronounced a humbug gotten
up by partisans in this state
for political purposes.

The Rail Road cars run regularly
between here and the East
& the mail passes regularly.
A good many family of
Friends are moving into this
State & are welcomed here. If
you will come out & see us I will
take you to Friends meeting.
