4th day I duly finished the gren
dress - when I went over at night
Isaiah met me with "The land -
Ellen has had another child - I
am clear discouraged - it seems
as tho I should [guilt wheel?] -
there " - any way her grief

in green - (which looked very
well) went into the hall &
danced & I suppose that is
when the [guilt wheeled?] - The
noise did not disturb Ellen
very much - it was about as
busy [watering?] as ever - but not
so hard as she could turn her-
self - the music sounded no
[plainer?] than from our [praise?]
As I was taking my nap 5th
day up above Dr B and I
would see thee about as plainly
as I could him, for I knew they
sent him - he listened to my
beatings - he did not say what

& twitched up his nose at
me, & looked as tho he thot
I was a poor old hum bug
any way, & as he was here he
would leave me a little sufar -

fullness - as he was dosing
out the pills I was mentally
counting the contents of my
"green book" - to see if I had enough
to pay him - when to my sis
had got the start of me - thanks

have done it unless they rather -
6th day. The [???] came -
[???] was here on a
visit, so he lent a helping hand
& [Looley?] was here - he has read
cousin R's letter. 6th day Walter
Little's beautiful house burned
