Your favor of the 8^th inst received.

I have requested Messrs A. Vogel & Jones to call on you & hand
you this note. They cut the [Sponer?] & Butler curb you
refer to & I set it & completed the lot.

Messrs Vogel & Jones will give you the price for the stone
work of either pattern. My price for setting & completing
the lot in the best manner would be for lots 4338 and 4339
if after the pattern of [Sponer?] & Butler's lots ^$240.00 and if of the
[?] [Pattern?] ^$185 if the stone was delivered at the lot.

I should be pleased to contract with you for the stonework
for the regulating of the Cemetery do not allow me to
contract for it, but merely to set it & complete the lot
when the stone is delivered -

The [Sponer?] & Butler lot was set by the same men now in
our contract employ, when I should have set & completed
your lot, should you have us do it.
