Dear Madam:-

Your note is received. The only special work needed is the repairing of the sodding around three myrtle graves. That it might be well for you to order in person when you see the lot.

Dear Sir:-

We find in building the foundation for the new stone that the stone at the adjoining graves needs a proper foundation under it

Geo. S. Hale, Esq., Boston.

Dear Sir:-

Your note is received. The rent for the deposit of the remains of Noble Maxwell in our tomb is paid until Oct. 15th.

Please sign the enclosed order filling in the day and hour when you wish the removal to take place, and return the order to me giving at least 24 hours notice. At the present season the office is open from 8 A.M. until about 5 P.M., but if convenient it would be advisable to make the removal in the forenoon.

If the body is to be removed to a lot in this cemetery the location of the grave in the lot will have to be given beforehand. If it is to be removed to another cemetery a permit will have to be obtained from the clerk of the Board of Health of the town of Watertown.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Dear Sir,

Your order for lot 2204 received; The grass will be cut at once and topdressing put on this Fall. Will you kindly inform me if you wish the usual amount of plants (five dollars worth) put out in 1889? as the order is not quite clear in that respect.

Yours Truly

J.W. Lovering Sup't. per F. A. B.

Bowker, Torrey & Co., Boston.

Dear Sirs:-

Your note and postal card of yesterday are received. We have not received an order from Mr. Barnard lot #349. In your order for setting the slab on lot #3518 you say the inscription is to be the reverse of one formerly there, but you omit to say how it was formerly placed. In regard to the Warren lot foundations, I can only repeat what I wrote you to the effect that the location of the grave of Josiah F. Warren was not known to us (the name not being found on the records). There need be no delay about building these whenever you can give us the necessary information as to where they are to go. Enclosed please find tracing of the lot for your guidance.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Mrs. James C. Fisk, Quincy St., Cambridge.

Dear Madam:-

I have looked very carefully into the charge for the work on your lot and find that the foundation was for a larger and heavier monument than in the former case. The work was constructed in an entirely different way in accordance with what was understood to be your wishes. If you will see Mr. McArthur when you are here I think he will be able to give you a satisfactory explaination in detail.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

A.P. Kitching, Esq., #15 Mills St., Boston.

Dear Sir:-

On the remains of Anna P. Kitching were deposited in our Receiving tomb. The undertaker did not pay the fee, and as this is payable in advance I will be obliged if you will forward me the amount ($20.00) that I may be able to square my accounts for the month.

Respectfully yours, Supt.
